Laurelwood Lodge is safe and suitable for all ages.  Children should be supervised at all times.

Lock box on door with code.  Gate card inside home .

We are always just a phone call away!  Unlike large corporate rental agencies that consider you a number, we care about you and strive to give you a wonderful vacation experience.  As the  owners and managers of Laurelwood Lodge we pledge to do everything we can to make your stay as comfortable, safe, and smooth as possible.  We will talk to you by phone before your stay and then during your stay we are always available 24/7 if you need anything.    We have a team with housekeepers and repair people that are available in the case of an emergency.

Complete kitchen - Cook ware, pots & pams, utensils, and appliances.  Just like home!

2 spacious outdoor decks - Top deck overlooks back wooded area with creek.  Adirondack chairs, grill and outdoor dining area with table and chairs.  Bottom deck is connected to the game room . Has 6 person hot tub overloooking a private wooded area.

Laurelwood is well equipped with all of the amenities to keep you and your family safe.  We strive to provide our guests with a safe and comfortable, worry free environment.

Laurelwood Lodge  is safe and suitable for all ages but because of the location and the 3 levels of the house, children should be supervised at all times.

Family gatherings are fine but loud parties are not allowed.  Maximum allowable group size is 12 people.

Please - Absolutely no smoking inside Laurelwood Lodge.  Smokers should keep cigarette butts off the lawn and dispose of them proplerly if smoking outside.  Evidence of smoking inside will cause the deposit to be retained.

Full fast and reliable WIFI internet and 140+ channels satellite TV.  55" Flat screen TV on main level in great room.  36" flat screen TV  in game room.  Both have full Direct TV reception

Our family works and lives in the Charleston area of SC.  Spending a lot of time in coastal areas, we were attracted to the change in scenery in the mountains of Western, NC.  In the summer of 2008 I stood outside under the balcony at the Lake Lure Inn, sipping my coffee and admiring the beauty of Lake Lure.  Later that afternoon while walking along the Lake with our two small children, my wife and I began to talk about the adventure of building a log cabin in this peaceful place.  The next weekend we returned to Lake Lure and began the process of looking at property.  After two years of hard work Laurelwood Lodge was finished.   We built Laurelwood to be a place where families could gather, socialize, unplug and enjoy nature.  We love to hear the wonderful stories that our guests tell us about there time spent here.   It's great to know that Laurelwood is part of the wonderful memories that so many families have experienced in Lake Lure.
